  1. Sapiens 2.Homo Deus by Yuva Noah Harari
By Abhijith Venugopal
Books of the day(Analyzed by Abhijith Venugopal) 1."Sapiens"by Yuval Noah Harari 2." Homo Deus" by Yuval Noah Harari 100,000 years ago, at least six human species inhabited the earth.Today there is just one. This is an amazing book series which take us through the brief history of mankind. The book is arranged in four parts: 1.The Cognitive Revolution 2.The Agricultural Revolution 3.The Unification of Humankind 4.The Scientific Revolution The book ends with a question, which we 'Sapiens' should answer. Yuval Noah Harari takes us through the history of Homo sapiens through a brilliant story based narrative technique. This book should be read by all, particularly students who find the world confused with all forms of prejudices in their mind. He has been able to answer all such preconceptions with accurate examples from the past that provokes our thoughts. He also comes with the sequel of "Sapiens" , called "Homo deus"which connects the past to future , discussing all the possibilities about human relationships with technology, which is gaining enormous power. He is able to raise few questions like ●What is more valuable- intelligence or consciousness? "Homo deus" brings up different aspects of future and collectively brings all aspects into one point ,that how humanity will deal with such developments or eventually AI will take over us. Though such questions and views will make some readers difficult to agree upon the arguments in this book series,in reality the term future is merely obsolete. Do read both and move in thoughts.
