The Kite Runner is the first novel by the tremendous Afghan-American author Khaled Hosseini published in 2003. It's simply an excellent story. Beautifully written. The story tells about an pure improbable friendship between two Afghan boys and, great and quiet disturbed father- son relation. The writer vividly tells about human relations, love, loyality, guilt, courage, vengeance and essentialy redemption. I finished the book by last month but am still drowning into the intensity of theme and excellence of the this book. And i don't want to lose it. The book is full of surprising and awe inspiring. The theme is very heart touching and we will get addicted with few chapters. The writer wants all our senses to experience the story. All the elements that writer puts in the journey will affect as and make one cry easily. The emotional trauma that readers touch will last for a long. Khalid done a brilliant job on setting up of situations, characterisation, twists and turning points. This epic narrative is coming from the backdrop of war-torn Afghanistan in 70's. All the fascinating characters made a special space in our heart. The novel teaches that don't judge someone by their outlook and behaviour. May be everyone living with a sparking volcano inside them. We should try to see the world them side too. Everyone makes mistakes. Dont live with guilt by those. The life have it's choices. We should decide the rest and we can't change what already happened. This book gave me a new perspective about life and happiness. The book of emotions also questioning the dark beliefs of society culture too- gender inequalities, child abuses, on education, discriminations by caste,money...etc. We all dreams a peacefull happy life. And this book could bring the dream atleast. Should read and experience it...
